Via Rail has cancelled its passenger service between Montreal and Toronto after the derailment Saturday afternoon. A freight train derailment west of Toronto is causing disruptions for commuter trains into the city this morning. Nine auto carriers derailed, and there were 294 passengers aboard the train, but no one was injured. The passenger car portion of the train stayed on the tracks, but the section carrying passenger automobiles derailed.
